The Creek A52 is a High-End power amplifier designed and manufactured in the UK. It is ready to meet the demands of most loudspeakers, giving a clear and consistent performance for years to come.
The A52 Creek's best sounding and most rugged power amp so-far. Its 75 watt power rating is achieved without compromising sound quality. The high-end circuit design also includes rapid protection circuitry to mute speaker outputs if a fault is detected. Heavy duty relays delay power-on to protect your speakers. A bi-color LED power indicator changes color to indicate status.
Flexibility is the A52's forte. The A52 can be used in multi-room situations, switched from the front panel, to power up to two pairs of eight ohm speakers in parallel or four pairs wired in series parallel. It is bi-wireable with two sets of speaker binding posts. The amplifier's slim attractive profile matches the P52 pre-amp. It can also be partnered with the 5250 integrated amp or the OBH-12.
Creek engineers have produced a multi-purpose design for music lovers. The Creek A52 amplifier proves that accurate, full-bodied sound can be affordable.
Unique amongst amplifiers of its
class, the A52 has fully balanced FET input circuitry with two sockets for every input, providing daisy chaining
facilities to link other A52 power amps in bi-and tri-wired systems. It also has adjustable low frequency roll-off to
tune the system sound.
Custom Creek circuitry uses cascaded FET differential input stage, differential FET voltage amp together with MOS-FET driver and output stage, using 4 transistors per channel to provide massive output current capability.
To enhance performance the A52SE uses two massive toroidal transformers.
