The job of an audio cable is to transfer a signal from one stereo component to another. It sounds simple, but many cables degrade or modify the signal due to poor design or inadequate materials.
Although not expensive, TARA Labs' Prism Series cables use the very best materials and engineering. Prism Cables are constructed using the same materials and techniques as our more expensive cables.
We start with TARA Labs' exclusive "Optimized Bandwidth"TM solid core conductors. The "super-annealed" high purity copper and Aero-PETM insulation are the same used in out top of the line cables. This unique construction conveys a sense of musical balance and immediacy that stranded or braided cables just can't match.
All materials, from the gold RCA plugs to the lead-free silver solder, are chosen for maximum performance and long life. Prism cables are hand-assembled and each is individually tested at our factory in Oregon.

Prism 5500 offers the greatest musical accuracy and the most
versatility of all the Prism interconnects.

The ultimate for better quality, moderately priced

Equipment requiring balanced connections.
Smooth sound with exceptional clarity and dynamics. Large,
well-defined soundstage. Softens harsh "etched" sound of
some CD components.

Moderately priced digital transport to D/A hook-up.
Components requiring AES/EBU configuration.
The reference among AT&T glass cables because of its high
quality ceramic connectors and the finely polished finish of
the glass fiber. 1 gigahertz bandwidth; attenuation less
than 0.0016 dB/meter at 1 gigahertz.
Termination: Standard AT&T connector.
Use for:
Any components requiring AT&T connectors.
Our most affordable speaker cable and the winner of a "Home
Theater" Magazine speaker cable comparison. Smooth sound,
solid bass.

In-wall installations of audio or home theater.
