Model 843 Remote Control
Extension System
The Model 843 system provides full remote control operation of a satellite receiver, cable box or VCR from a second room by sharing the coaxial cable connecting your video equipment. Using the same receiver as our Model 844, this unit receives IR commands from a handheld remote control, converts them to DC control signals, and sends them to an RF Splitter/Injector where they are mixed with the RF television signal. The combined signal is carried over coax cable to the receiving end where it is separated by another RF splitter/injector and the DC control signal is sent to an infrared emitter located with the component(s). Ideal for wiring house or office systems where components need to be managed from remote locations.
